The challenge
The client needed a premium product video for their sunglasses line — the kind of cinematic outdoor lifestyle footage you see in international campaigns. Traditional video production for this type of content requires a 3-person crew, location permits, model fees, and post-production time. Total cost: typically 3,000–8,000 TND, with a 3–4 week turnaround.
The client's budget was a fraction of that, and their timeline was 10 days to a campaign launch date. The brief: "Make it look like a Nike commercial."
The AI production workflow
We used a multi-tool pipeline combining the strengths of each platform:
- Concept & storyboard: 12-frame storyboard in 4 hours, approved by client before any generation work.
- Kling 2.0 for product close-ups: Kling's texture fidelity made it ideal for the sunglasses material and lens reflection sequences. The product was integrated from the client's still photography.
- Runway Gen-4 for lifestyle sequences: The outdoor, motion-heavy sequences (wind, movement, golden hour) were generated in Runway, which has superior camera motion control.
- Premiere Pro assembly: All sequences composited with licensed music track, color graded to match the brand's dark, premium aesthetic, and optimized for each platform format.
The 30-second ad was delivered in 4 formats: 16:9 for YouTube pre-roll, 9:16 for Instagram and TikTok Reels, 1:1 for Facebook feed, and a 6-second cut for Google Display. All from the same production run.
What we delivered
- 30-second main video ad (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)
- 6-second bumper cut
- 3 x 15-second story variants with different hooks
- Static thumbnail designs for each format
- Platform-specific captions and copy variants (FR + AR)
The result
Campaign launched on schedule. The video generated a 4.2% engagement rate on Instagram Reels in the first week — above the 2–3% platform benchmark for product content. The client approved a follow-up package for their next product line without a second budget conversation.
Total production time: 6 working days. Traditional equivalent: 3–4 weeks and 3–4× the cost.
